Firstly you should pull the court card in question and place it in the center as per the diagram above.

Secondly (this bits optional), pull a court card that you feel represents you and place it in the top far left corner. The idea here is to place cards above below and either side of the court card in the center to try and glean the circumstance or involvement this person has with you and why. Position 1 The surface The card I place here should give me clues to general atmosphere and dynamics between the person in the center and the person up the the left corner.

Position 2 -Recent events This card will describe any recent events that have occurred between the two in question. Position 4 Values What is this this person made of? what is important to to the individual?

Position 5, 6 7 – Whats on their mind?

This card will give some indication to the persons motives and intentions. Whatever shows here should give a hint to what is most on their mind. Position 8, 9 10 – Final Outcome Here we find out how the situation with this person will pan out.

Whatever you see here is to come! Dont be afraid to add as many more cards as you feel necessary. sometimes I start with these 10 cards and then go on to lay a further 10 all over the place until the spread isnt even recognisable any more.
